Women in Film Industry Kuna zlatica

Croatian Film Directors’ Guild organised an international conference on women in film industry. We used that opportunity to pay homage to three giants of Croatian cinematography: Zora Dirnbach, a screenwriter of a 1960. Holocaust drama, Oscar and Palme d’Or nominee “The Ninth Circle”; Radojka Tanhofer who did film editing on 1958. cult drama “H-8”; and Jagoda Kaloper, a female lead in 1969. legendary “Foxes”.
The visual approach is a monochrome, utter condensation of famous visual motifs into basic geometrical shapes. The foxes become just tiny circles/eyes in the dark, the H-8 car from the road accident becomes 2 circles of imminent tragedy, the car lights in the night, and 9 semi-circle
