Project description
Exhibition catalogue Slana tells the story of a small bay on the edge of the Crikvenica town of Selce, where the only naval command for the defence of the northern Adriatic was located in the interwar period (1930-1941). Before the invasion of the occupiers during the April War, it was destroyed by blasting and thus became a “local mystery” without much evidence of its existence and the role it played at the beginning of the war.
