From Residence to Ruin – Chronicles of a Downfall Ana Mojaš

The Project deals with abandoned architecture of Dubrovnik and its surroundings, specifically the renaissance mansions and the modern architecture of 20th century. The aim is to acquaint the general public with the problem of the deterioration of cultural heritage and to make it visible by using several media – signage, digital platform, monograph and an accompanying event. The signage system marks the abandoned country buildings and provides information about them. The associated QR code links to a digital platform that contains additional information and points of interest and allows a virtual walk through the facility. The monograph is a written testimony to the history and the present of the mansions
