Project description

The [Hidden]3 collection has evolved by questioning the phenomenon of affirmation and negation of the body. The attestation of the body is processed through the iconic fashion silhouette of the 1990’s Jean Paul Gaultier’s conical basket corset. In designing the [Hidden]3 collection, the corset was transformed and dislocated to the trouser legs. The negation of the body is processed through the voluminous anti-fashion clothing silhouette of a religious habit. With the voluminous silhouette of a religious dress, the body is denied and attention is drawn to the spiritual component of the human being.
