Lake note Dario Dević

At the end of 2018, the contemporary pop music blog Lake note switched to a periodic webzine format. The PDF publication is meant for online distribution and is tailored to a smartphone or tablet viewing experience — from the page dimensions and type sizes, down to the interactive elements such as hyperlinks that allow non-linear reading or lead to external web-locations. The visuals are colorful and hyperactive, effective as brightly backlit smartphone images, and evocative of the queer-pop aesthetic of the musical acts Lake note mostly cover. The dramatic headline treatment is expanded to create illustrative typographic separator pages throughout.
