Studying traditional clothing in Istria, the dark brown colour of outerwear (dresses, coats, vests and hats) comes to the fore. Therefore, for the cover of the catalogue brown paper was chosen, which with its colour and texture undoubtedly resembles a brown woollen cloth. And as the traditional costume in Istria in terms of workmanship, materials and decorations was mostly quite modest (even women’s costumes), so the catalogue is graphically very modest on the outside, on the cover, there is only the title of the collection made by screen printing. The catalogue is wrapped with a banner of a colourful pattern, that replicates the colourful ‘kanica’, ie. a belt tied around the waist of a woman dress.
