Hillforts, Stone Mounds and Caves Hillforts, Stone Mounds and Caves

Project description
The exhibition presents and reveals a wealth of archaeological finds in the Dubrovnik area. The task was to present the 35 most important forts, mounds and caves with their artifacts in a demanding 500-year-old exhibition space where everything had to be carefully assembled so as not to damage the original wall. In order to achieve a visual contrast between the exhibition elements and the old stone wall, exhibition elements in the form of a typographic spatial installation were designed. The themes of Gradina and Gomila are presented in gigantic letters. For the theme of the Cave, a free-standing installation has been designed that narrows towards the exit, so the visitor feels as if he is really passing through a cave.
