Project description

The basic idea of the poster was to visually reflect the structure, rhythm and the director’s handling of the play. The means of communication are, as in the classic Ionesco, precisely the words, their caricature-like use and the analysis into parts that move away from meaning. Typography as a basic means and a monochrome representation of the director’s concept, in which he dissolves recognizable forms and expected communication patterns, are informative and narrative elements at the same time. Such a black-and-white relationship between the theatrical setting and typography and its manipulation conveys the message of the dialog itself, questioning the meaning of the written/spoken word.
