Project description

Blow up is a reference to Michelangelo Antonioni’s cult classic from the 60s, especially on the process of enlarging photos. Extreme photo enlargement transforms realistic details into an abstract image. Original colours are post-processed into both palettes of intensive colours or black and white, which gives the pictures different emotional impact. Printed on neopren, which keeps an oval form, with constructional intervention they become sculptural envelopes for the body.
