The monograph Photographed by Tomo Žanetić opens with the quote Milena, the cheese is for you and Pero, the marmalade is for Antun. The marmalade for Antun (then editor of Dubrovački vjesnik) contained negatives of photographs that Tomo Žanetić secretly took in occupied Cavtat. The atmosphere of secrecy, as well as the intimacy of this photojournalistic endeavor, is conveyed on the cover by a subtle silhouette of a jar of marmalade rendered in red foil on burgundy covers. The book itself is divided into two sections—In Occupied Cavtat depicts people and events in Cavtat during the occupation, while Burnt Homeland presents images of the wartime destruction inflicted upon Konavle.
