Project description
A digital tool and an interactive spatial installation for searching museum databases. The work was developed as part of interdisciplinary research, through a series of expert workshops, in close collaboration with three European design museums. The potential and broader application of the experimental method for searching digital collections was tested in real environment, by implementing participatory processes of viewing and interpretation of objects. Backend technology further serves their diversification, thus creating inexhaustible reconfiguration of images, establishing an interesting network of relations between them, presented in form of a visual atlas inspired by the associative image maps by Aby Warburg.
