Crystal Clean: Signs of Change Dora Bilandžić, Andrea Šarić

The self-initiated project Signs of Change by Crystal Clean encompasses 23 objects as interpretations of official traffic signs. This utilitarian and collectively accepted medium, which establishes authority and guidelines, has been experimentally subjected to critical messages about humanity’s relationship with nature and the community. Using the language of traffic signs and standard colors, shapes, formats, and materials, the goal was to establish rules for social change and wittily contribute to the transformation of ecological awareness. The work was exhibited in two solo exhibitions: in October 2023 at the Prostor Gallery in Split and in April 2024 at the Klet Gallery in Zagreb.
