The flyer that announces the exhibition of the artist Layla Juma. The typography was inspired by her work, and almost everything was done freehand, with a little help of a ruler. All hand sketches were scanned and inserted into Photoshop and additionally colored. The typeface is not completed, extensions emerge from each letter, and have an interactive impact on the composition of letters and empty spaces. The typeface includes multiple styles that show the process from legible to abstract form. The shape of type is determined by the dotted paper and the imitation of the artistic approach, which dictates and imitates the joining on paper, just as the artist created her own works
