Food waste is the second biggest cause of global warming. Inspired by the symbol of Yugoslav industrial design – the K67 kiosk, Kuler is an innovative solution proposal in the form of a kiosk-refrigerator with solar panels, electronic composters and modern digital technology aim to encourage local shops and citizens to bring and take away excess food for free. With unconventional posters, an application with recipes, an advertising leaflet, and a smart card for collecting points, the focus is placed on food with an ‘unattractive’ appearance that has already expired but is still edible.
