Project description

The 58th edition of the International Folklore Festival Zagreb is dedicated to UNESCO cultural spaces, especially the Šokac identity that transcends contemporary national definitions. Once again inspired by traditional costumes and jewelry, the graphics proudly convey heritage into a contemporary visual language. The female portrait used as part of the collage was taken by Zvonko Dogan at the Festival in 1967. The main subject of the photograph, Mrs. Marica Pavošević-Beljina, is an honorary guest at this year’s Festival.
