Trnjanski kresovi 2023 Josipa Tadić, Sven Sorić

The visual identity of Trnjanski kresovi held in 2023 is based on a strong illustrative interpretation of flames. The stylization of the sharp surfaces contrasts with the soft curves of the serif font, which manneristically adapts to the centrally symmetrical composition of the illustration emphasizing it. By using cuts of different widths, the design adapts to the requirements of social media, while the central composition is repeated on the poster and tote bag. By layering illustration and typography, using typographic mannerism and reckless division of sylablles, we tried to avoid the rigidity and established graphic aesthetics of the leftist visual code.
