The monograph of the painter Lovro Artuković was developed by exploring and altering the approach to artistic content throughout the publication. Each time the works reappear in different sections, their treatment is modified, exploring various hierarchies and contexts. The beginning of the book is structured around Leonida Kovač’s analytical text, equipped with small pictorial and textual notes. These simultaneously leave space for the ‘true’ depiction of the works, which gradually unfolds throughout the publication. The process section emphasizes the creation and documentation of the works. The final pages, without design intervention, directly communicate with the reader, providing an immediate experience of the artwork
