There's Nothing Here Damir Gamulin

Project description
The design of the publication unites two coordinated, but autonomous artistic narratives into one object. The essay There’s Nothing Here by Dubravka Ugrešić, who, through the theme of baths and spas, questions the continued permeation and presence of nationalist discourse in small communities, is followed by the photo narrative by Davor Konjikušić, who records the theme and artistry of the same motifs, but in another medium. The book combines two approaches to the same topic by using partially transparent and tactilely expressive paper, which aims to suggest the non-existence of separate moments and places, that is, the existence of all places and thoughts at once in the same space.
