Mom, I can do it myself! Studio Oaza

An illustrated book for children and adults from the Oaza&Sons edition of the independent publisher Oaza Books. The text was created by the author’s direct research of the relationship between children and parents on children’s playgrounds. It deals with the theme of emancipation in the form of a dialogue between a girl and a mother. The typographical treatment visualizes the dialogue, where the mother’s warnings are always in strict uppercase letters, and the curious girls’ answers are in lowercase letters. The medium of the book is enhanced by hand-crafted hard cover with a screen-printed bookbinding cloth.
