Lebbeus Woods — Zagreb Free Zone revisited Sven Sorić

The book “Zagreb Free Zone 1991/Zagreb Free Zone Revisited” was conceived as a hybrid of a reproduction of the exhibition of the architect Lebbeus Woods held at the MUO in 1991 and the documentation and texts of contemporaries about that utopian project. The two entities are materialized in the form of a double-sided book, which does not allow the dominance of one. The exhibition reproduction volume consists of proportionally resized complete scans of all original exhibits formatted to fit the book. The opposite part contains scans of original drawings and documentation and new layout of the late author’s texts. The bindings are sewn and glued, and the cover is screen-printed.
