The Memories Plexus is a system of objects that contemplate the form and ritual of storing personal objects which materialise memories, exploring the potential of non-traditional storage for modern life. The three designed typologies of artefacts – the Archive, the Nest and the Display – consist of a solid frame and soft organic “tissue” whose materials create unique interactions with the living object that transforms in symbiosis with memories. With adaptable dimensions, materials and assembly – the system is created to raise awareness of objects and memories as expression of identity, affirm independent creation of a unique object, keeping in mind purpose and sustainability.
