Project description

The Timeline created for the exhibition Fiume Fantastika: Phenomena of the City. Fifty fabrics are modeled after the flags that this city has seen in large numbers throughout history, not because it is a political stance, but because they are symbols that speak of the rules, values, aesthetics and goals of society in a certain period of time. The flag fronts follow events from architecture, infrastructure, politics, economy, culture and art. On the backs are graphically deconstructed historical flags relevant to Rijeka, which suggests that we should not take the past literally, but analyze it, and in retrospect imagine a new future.
