Choosing the best solution for storing our personal data has become an increasingly important issue. Despite the development of cloud computing, there is still a need for external storage, often neglected by designers. Pluto is an organically shaped SSD device with a polished surface that changes its appearance depending on the environment – emphasizing the abstract concept of data. Its casing is made of solid aluminium so the whole surface of the drive acts as one large heat sink for SSD chips.
